TERRA MIA - Italian restaurant

 Hej, ciao,

Today I want to suggest to you a delicious surprise, the Italian restaurant TERRA MIA in Charlottenlund, I’ve tried it for the first time just a few days ago and it is really good!

The environment is nice and very welcoming, I was pleased to see families with children and to see the staff attentive to the needs of  the little ones.

I LIKE THE PIZZA SALCICCIA E FRIARIELLI ... FROM NAPLES WITH LOVE

We have bought also a take away Pizza, pay attention what a wonderful box they use, no pizza stuck!

A good surprise was also the BURRATA ON RED ONION FONDUE

and SCIALATIELLI PASTA WITH SEA FOOD, BASIL OIL AND GARLIC SMOKE

And...

Don’t go out without have tried one of their DESSERT!

Summer House

 Hej, ciao,

Due to the COVID-19, the difficulty to fly, the quarantine, it has been difficult to organise a vacation around the world,  for this reasons we have decided to have a new kind of experience here in Denmark.

For the first time we had rented a Summer House, but...not a normal one, a BIG ONE!

During this pandemic year we have “created “ ours Bubble with our best friends in Copenhagen, we have organised lunches, dinners, walks outside together and at the end of the year we had rendered a Big Summer House for all of us!

One week all together for the first time! Everyone under the same roof!

The house was for 20 people, large, with a lot of space both inside and outside, with a tennis table, a pool table, and there was also a swimming pool!

It was a big step of ours friendship and it was AMAZING!

We liked it so much that we did it again for the Easter break.

One of my best experience ever, if you are brave enough to get involved with your friend try it!

Lockdown time

Few days ago Facebook remained me by this photo that during the first lockdown in March 2020 here in Copenhagen me and my daughters had played a lot of music together, we also participated at the Alice Cooper video project DON’T GIVE UP.

Painted every day pictures, sweaters, vases...

Now, a year after, in a second lockdown I’ve realised we don’t do it as much as it was, we are doing totally different thinks like read, watch tv, listen music...

With the first lockdown the feeling was “ use the time forced at home to do all the things we usually don’t have time enough to do it”.

Now the feeling is “ take it easy and quiet because it will take time, a lot of time”.

What we continue to do (because to be honest I stress them) is walk, walk at least half an hour 4-5 days every week, I think it is important for our health.

Has it happened only to us or also to you too?

After one year do you do the same things? Do you have the same hobbies?

After more than two years, I’ve decided to write again on my blog, with new ideas, a new language and new helpers...my daughters!

Why I stopped writing my blog I don’t know, really.

The International Woman’s Day

This afternoon I was in the kitchen with my daughters to make the TORTELLINI, on a sunny day and the laughs, the happiness, the great job we can do when we work together gave me the impulse to ask them for their help on restarting to write the blog, between a slice of pasta and a bunch of stuffed meat they said YES!

Here we are, mom and daughters, best women team ever!

THE 6 FORGOTTEN GIANTS

Ciao!
Le vacanze sono finite, la scuola qui a Copenhagen è gia iniziata (il 15 Agosto!) e noi abbiamo ripreso con le nostre gite alla scoperta del paese...perché dopo tanti anni che girovaghiamo per la Danimarca ci sono ancora tante cose da vedere e nuovi posti da scoprire.

Domenica siamo andati alla ricerca dei 6 GIGANTI DIMENTICATI, sei statue in legno di recupero  nate dall’idea di THOMAS DAMBO artista designer e costruite con l’aiuto di volontari locali nei comuni di Rødovre, Hvidovre, Vallensbæk, Ishøj, Albertslund e Høje Taastrup.
Sul sito THOMAS DAMBO trovate una mappa con indicati i 6 FORGOTTEN GIANTS per noi è stato molto utile avere GOOGLE MAPS inserendo il nome di ogni singolo gigante abbiamo trovato l’esatta locazione senza fatica.

SLEEPING LUIS che fa un pisolino sulla collina

HILL TOP TRINE dal palmo delle sue mani si scorge un paesaggio mozzafiato, distese infinite di campi, boschi con cavalli, mucche e pecore al pascolo

OSCAR UNDER THE BRIDGE decisamente il più spaventoso... anche per la posizione, attenti che i bambini non finiscano in acqua!

LITTLE TILDE che guarda il piccolo lago difronte a lei...che buone le more lì vicino!

THOMAS ON THE MOUNTAIN arrivati in cima alla collina è proprio necessario coricarsi sulle sue lunghe gambe e riposarsi un po’

TEDDY FRIENDLY che divertimento per i bambini (ma non solo) attraversare l’acqua camminando sul suo lungo braccio

Noi siamo riusciti a visitarli tutti e 6 i FORGOTTEN GIANTS in una sola giornata, portandoci dei panini e tanta acqua da bere, perché a camminare vien sete!
I 6 FORGOTTEN GIANTS sono facilmente raggiungibili sia in macchina che con il treno e per i più bravi anche con un bel giro in bicicletta.

LEGOLAND BILLUND

Ciao!
Approfittando anche del ultimo weekend lungo prima delle vacanze siamo andati a LEGOLAND a Billund!

E che dire...dopo 10 anni è stato bellissimo tornare nel mondo dei mattoncini colorati, io Legoland lo adoro.

Se avete in programma una visita a Legoland controllate sempre eventuali offerte sul sito https://www.legoland.dk/ noi stessi abbiamo trovato un’ottima occasione per i festeggiamenti dei 50 anni dalla nascita del parco giochi.

Spesso sui cataloghi Lego ci sono sconti per le famiglie, noi avevamo trovato uno sconto sui cereali per le bambine.

Tenete conto che per visitare con calma tutto il parco e provare tutti i giochi almeno una volta vi ci vorranno 2 giorni, da quando siamo stati a Legoland 10 anni fa ora ci sono molti più giochi, tutti molto belli e a misura di famiglia, nessun gioco particolarmente pauroso ma tutti molto divertenti!
E poi tenete conto che quando entrerete nel negozio Lego non uscirete a mani vuote!!!

Avremmo tanto voluto accontentare le bambine e dormire per una notte nell’Hotel di Legoland nella camera delle Lego Friends ma purtroppo (ma anche no visto il prezzo!) la camera è SOLO per 4 persone...e noi siamo in 5! CHE PECCATO!!!

In alternativa abbiamo trovato un ottimo Hotel a Vejle a 20 km circa da Billund dove ci siamo trovati molto bene e che vi consiglio, la camera era spaziosa con 5 letti, la notte con la finestra aperta non c’erano rumori, la colazione a buffet aveva anche un tavolo con il pane per i celiaci, ottimo per qualità e prezzo.

E visto che ci siamo sempre a Vejle vi consiglio la pizzeria L’angolo italiano perché noi di giorno ci accontentiamo di un panino veloce ma la sera ci piace mangiare bene e qui abbiamo mangiato MOLTO BENE!

Ma non vi fate mancare uno spuntino con le patatine a forma di mattoncini in uno dei chioschi dentro Legoland perché dove altro le trovate delle patatine così!

OSLO con FLIXBUS

CIAO!
Qui nel nord Europa è scoppiata l’estate!
Tutto questo bel tempo invoglia ad andare in giro per la Scandinavia, lo scorso fine settimana siamo andati in Norvegia a Oslo e ci siamo andati con il FLIXBUS!

I FLIXBUS sono autobus comodi per chi vuole viaggiare cercando di non spendere troppo, i sedili sono spaziosi, Wi-Fi a bordo e caricabatterie vicino ai sedili che durante un lungo viaggio serve!
Siamo partiti venerdì sera alle 21.30 da Copenhagen, la fermata del FlixBus è dietro alla Central Station, comoda da raggiungere con il bus 1A (fermata Hovedbanegården).
Il sabato mattina alle 7.30 siamo arrivati a OSLO, il viaggio è stato piacevole, le bambine hanno dormito bene...io non faccio testo...posso dormire anche in piedi!

Consiglio di prendere un cuscino da viaggio e il copri occhi a chi da fastidio la luce, in estate il sole sorge presto.

Arrivati a OSLO abbiamo fatto colazione con le brioches che ci eravamo portati da casa con un “buon” caffè caldo e poi abbiamo iniziato il nostro tour per la città.

Vista la bella giornata di sole abbiamo deciso di visitare la città a piedi, abbiamo visto l’Opera, la fortezza di Akershus, il municipio e al porto lì difronte abbiamo preso il traghetto per la visita di 2 ore del fiordo, era da tanto che desideravo farlo!

Al ritorno abbiamo visitato l’interno del municipio e poi ci siamo diretti verso il centro città girovagando in lungo ed in largo per il centro.

La città è molto carina, cercando su internet ci sono molti musei gratuiti da poter visitare e parchi pubblici con sculture famose, ma la giornata era così bella e così calda che abbiamo abbandonato tutti i nostri piani e siamo andati in spiaggia!
Dietro l’Opera c’e una spiaggia molto carina con una spazio sicuro per i bambini...c’e Anche un supermercato lì vicino nel caso volete prendere qualcosa da mangiare o da bere, ma se volete una birra andateci presto altrimenti il reparto alcolico chiude!

La Norvegia è molto cara ma se con una borsa termica, dei panini e dell’acuqa si può risparmiare.
La sera siamo andati a mangiare una delle pizze più buone che ho mangiato all’estero da MAMMA PIZZA, in centro comodo da raggiungere.
Alla sera alle 11 siamo risaliti sul nostro FLIXBUS per tornare a casa a Copenhagen, e credetemi che eravamo così stanchi che ci siamo addormentati alla prima curva!

Visitare Oslo in un giorno è impegnativo ma fattibile, per noi poi non era la prima volta, c’eravamo già stati tanti anni fa d’inverno e devo dire che col sole la città è molto bella.
