 Ciao,

Per gli italiani residenti all’estero e iscritti all’AIRE c’è la possibilità di visitare molti musei italiani gratuitamente, lo sapevate voi?

La notizia è apparsa sia sui quotidiani che su alcune riviste, ma (perlomeno quelle che ho visto io) sempre in trafiletti poco evidenti, che facilmente possono sfuggire al lettore poco attento o di fretta.

Noi abbiamo provato e funziona!

A Milano abbiamo visitato la Pinacoteca di Brera, a Roma Il Colosseo, i Fori Romani, Altare della Patria, avevamo nella lista anche le Terme di Caracalla ma all’ultimo abbiamo dovuto disdire.

Accanto Restaurant - Early Bird

 Ciao,

Quando si tratta di scegliere un ristorante dove andare a mangiare io sono pigra e tendo ad andare sempre negli stessi posti, quelli che ormai conosco così bene che non leggo nemmeno il menù, perché so già quello che voglio, perché ordino sempre gli stessi piatti.

Ma a me piace molto mangiare, provare nuovi cibi, nuovi ristoranti, sono solo pigra a cambiare.

In mia salvezza c’è un App che io adoro Early Bird l’app perfetta per una pigra come me, mi da idee per provare nuovi ristoranti e vari menu.

Venerdì sera stavano tornando a casa da un evento a scuola, eravamo stanchi e affamati, volevamo coccolarci un po’ con del buon cibo così abbiamo consultato l’App Early Bird e abbiamo scelto un nuovo ristorante che non avevamo ancora provato…ACCANTO RESTAURANT

ACANTO RESTAURANT è stata un ottima scoperta!

Siamo stati accolti dal personale molto gentile, i tavoli erano quasi tutti occupati, l’ambiente era allegro, quel tanto che basta per star bene e riuscire a parlare con la persona che hai difronte.

La cena era ottima!

Abbiamo mangiato tutto con gusto dall’antipasto al dolce, ho solo un rammarico, non ho una foto del buonissimo piatto di RAVIOLI FUNGHI PORCINI, CREMA DI CASTELMAGNO, SCAGLIE DI TARTUFO, però vi garantisco che meritano di essere assaggiati!

Torneremo di sicuro.

J-DAG, JULEØL, LA BIRRA DI NATALE

Buon Natale e buona Tuborg di Natale!

Ieri venerdì 5 Novembre 2021 alle ore 20.59 al grido “snebajeren” (la neve sta cadendo, riferito alla prima schiuma) è stata spillata per la prima volta la prima BIRRA DI NATALE la JULEØL!🍺

All’inizio la prima birra di Natale veniva servita il primo mercoledì del mese di Novembre a mezzanotte, essendo che poi il giorno dopo c’erano molte assenze a scuola e sul posto di lavoro hanno deciso di spostare questa celebrazione tipica danese e molto sentita da tutti il venerdì sera alle 20.59.

Quest’anno è stato il 30º anno che si è celebrato il J-Dag il primo venerdì del mese alle 20.59, si perché è dal 1990 che c’è questa bellissima tradizione, l’anno scorso purtroppo però per le restrizioni dovute dal COVID-19 non si è potuto festeggiare.

La classica e più storica birra di Natale Tuborg è di gradazione alcolica più alta e più scura di una pilsner.

Con gli anni si sono aggiunte tante altre birre di Natale di tanti brand, ce ne sono tante artigianali molto particolari e molto buone, a mio parare sarebbero tutte da provare, noi ieri sera siamo andati in un locale qui in centro a Copenhagen dove avevano una ventina di tipi di birre di Natale!

Nelle prossime 7 settimane circa, periodo in cui viene servita la birra di Natale faremo del nostro meglio per berne alcune.

Altra particolarità che ho scoperto solo ieri è che la classica immagine della slitta di Babbo Natale trainata dalle renne è stata creata prima della birra di Natale, ho letto che fu usata inizialmente come immagine dalla Tuborg per mandare gli auguri di Natale ai propri clienti e che poi solo in futuro fu abbinata alla birra.

Appassionati di birra un giretto a Copenhagen a trovarci in questo periodo lo dovete fare!

Copenhagen City Hall - Rådhus and the Tower

Few days ago I took a guided tour to visit the Copenhagen City Hall (Rådhus) and the Tower, I like to go into the City Hall because it is one of my favourite place, in a normal day it is open to every one, you can go inside, have a look, sit down and read, look at the newlyweds, every day there are weddings!

The guided tour gives to us the choice to learn more of the history and some details of the building that I didn’t know, discover rooms that I’ve never seen.

The city Hall was designed by the architect Martin Nyrop and finished building in 1905.

I discovered that the Danes were very superstitious, in every room there is something made wrong/different on purpose so as not to make God angry because only he does perfect thing.

Have fun looking for them!

Going to the top of the Tower gives a wonderful view of all the city from the centre, take your time to do the 298 steps!

Visit Copenhagen by boat

 Hey, ciao,

The last two weeks the weather in Copenhagen is amazing, sunny every day and 18-20 degrees!

Less tourists around, children at school, wonderful friends and many many ideas in my mind.

Few days ago we rented a boat and we took a tour around the canals in the city centre.

You have to try it! It is amazing!

First to know is not so difficult to sail a boat, after an introduction and few minutes to practice every one can do it and trust in me, if we did it every one can do it.

We rented the boat at the Friendships.dk, there is also another company Goboat.dk they are similar but in two different locations, check which one in better for you.

Take two hours sailing in a sunny and warm morning was beautiful,  relaxing and quiet just few other boat around, no stress, time to have fun and have a lot of photos.

Sailing give to me an incredible sense of freedom and a different prospective of the city, a glass of wine and my friends make it unforgettable.

Copenhagen 2021 World Pride & Euro Games

From yesterday is officially open the Copenhagen 2021 World Pride & Euro Games!

The city is full of tourists, full of color and full of events!

Propellen Hotel and Legoland

We are big fan of the Danish Bricks and from the first time we have had the opportunity to live in the land of LEGO we have visit Legoland in Billund many and many times and every time it is amazing!

I remember how small Legoland was compared to now and this is one of the reasons that it is always exiting to go to Legoland, there is always something new to discover!

In and around Legoland you can find many different hotels, in 2018 we have tried the Vejle Center Hotel and it was good, with also Family Rooms,  I wrote about it also in this previous post Legoland Billund.

This time we had tried the Propellen Hotel 300 meters to Legoland and I want to suggest it to you.

The Propellen Hotel is really nice and comfortable, 5 minute walk to Legoland, we had chosen it because they have an indoor swimming pool and a gym

 a delicious restaurant where we had a dinner and a nice path with a lot of sculptures, running there with my family was so beautiful.

Malghette Lake Trentino Alto Adige Italy

We are in vacation in Italy, in Trentino Alto Adige, we love this region, it is so beautiful and so family friendly!

A few days ago we did a nice excursion to the Malghette Lake, Madonna di Campiglio, inside the Adamello Brenta Natural Park.

The trail is quite easy, we did it in 1 hour from Campo Carlo Magno by the path 201 (red and withe signature), 250 meters downhill.

Walk inside the unspoiled nature, the warm weather, ours daughters with their laughs, their music and their singing (we can’t live without it), make the walking a pleasure, and a good family day all together.

When we arrived at the Malghette Lake the landscape around us was amazing, a breathtaking view, the lake, the Dolomites, the nature around us was so beautiful.

The Malghette Lake Refuge is close until the 20 July for renewal, but after that they will be happy to welcome you with their Trentino Specialities dishes.

We usually buy some sandwiches at the Famiglia Cooperativa (market) with their delicious affettati and cheese and some apples just to have some food with us.

If you don’t have a plan for the summer holidays consider to come to visit the Trentino Alto Adige, you will love it!

BLACK DIAMOND AND THE ROYAL LIBRARY GARDEN

The Black Diamond is the new building, an extension, of the Royal Danish Library, it was completed in 1999 and when I came to Copenhagen for the first time 21 years ago it was the innovation.

The building is always charming, outside, inside, by day and by night.

You can visit The Royal Danish Library from the new building to the old one by a bridge.

But don’t miss to visit also The Royal Library Garden jut behind the buildings, it is one of my special places in Copenhagen, I discovered it by chance on my first day in the City, I was there also today.

The Royal Library Garden is a quite place in the city centre, beside the Danish Parliament where you can always find someone who is reading a book, play guitar, walk around or someone like me today that run in just to have a pleasure of a so beautiful place.
